Sen. Liz Warren TEARS into Trump general for refusing to tell Congress if he receives illegal orders from "lawless" president!

In a chilling exchange before the Senate Armed Services Committee, Gen. Randy A. George, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, repeatedly dodged Sen. Elizabeth Warren's question: Would he inform the committee if the Army was ordered to do something he or the JAG believed was illegal?

"Will you commit to informing this committee if SOUTHCOM is directed to do something that you or your JAG thinks is illegal?" Warren asked.

But George deflected: "If I reported that to this committee, Senator, it would be through my chain of command."

Warren shot back: "And you would not take any responsibility for making sure we got that information? You do realize we have oversight responsibilities here?"

George doubled down: "I would work that information through my chain of command."

Warren exploded: "That's a very concerning answer here. Look, what's happening right now is very dangerous. We need our nonpartisan military leaders to double down on their commitment to following the law and speaking up when they are asked to break it. And Congress needs to be able to step in and rein in this lawless commander-in-chief and his self-styled Secretary of War."

This moment is a massive red flag. A top four-star general refuses to promise direct reporting of potential illegal orders to Congress, while Trump and Pentagon Pete's war drags on and may lead them to illegal actions to get a quick resolution for political expediency.
